Terms of Service
Last updated 16 October 2026
These Terms govern your access to and use of TestTale (the “Service”), operated by TestTale (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service for an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these Terms for it, and “you” means that organisation. The Service is intended for business use by people aged 18 or over.
1. Your account and workspace
Keep your sign-in details secure and tell us promptly about any unauthorised use. You are responsible for activity in your workspace, including actions by members you invite. Workspace owners and admins control who has access.
2. Free trial
Each new workspace gets a free trial of 14 days with the features of the Business plan. No payment details are needed for the trial. When it ends, the workspace becomes read-only until you choose a paid plan: you can still view and export your data, but you can't start new work.
3. Plans, prices and payment
- Paid plans are priced per user (seat) and billed monthly or yearly in advance, at the prices shown on our pricing page when you subscribe. Prices exclude taxes, which are added at checkout where applicable.
- Our order process is handled by our online reseller Paddle.com, which is the Merchant of Record for all orders. Paddle processes payments, collects applicable taxes, issues invoices and receipts, and handles billing questions and refunds together with us. Paddle's own buyer terms also apply to your purchase.
- Your seat count follows the members of your workspace. When members are added or removed, the subscription is adjusted and charged or credited pro rata for the rest of the billing period.
- We may change prices for future billing periods. We will tell you at least 30 days before a change affects you.
4. Renewal and cancellation
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time in the app under Settings → Billing & usage → Manage billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; until then you keep full access, and afterwards the workspace becomes read-only. Refunds are described in our Refund Policy.
5. Your AI provider and its costs
The Service uses the AI model provider and API key that you add to your workspace (for example OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or another compatible service). Charges from that provider are billed to you by the provider and are not part of your TestTale subscription. Your use of that provider is governed by its terms.
6. Your content and code
You keep all rights to the tickets, code, logs, test cases and other content you add or connect (“Customer Content”), and to the tests and other output generated for you. You give us the limited rights needed to host, process and transmit Customer Content only to provide the Service to you. You are responsible for having the rights to connect Customer Content and for any credentials or test environments you provide. We do not use Customer Content to train AI models.
7. AI-generated output
Tests, fixes, reviews, answers and other output are generated by AI and may be incomplete or wrong. Review them before merging or relying on them. The Service never pushes code, opens pull requests, files issues, posts comments or runs other write actions without a person in your workspace approving them.
8. Acceptable use
- Only test systems you are authorised to test.
- Don't try to break, overload or get around the security or limits of the Service, including through automated use beyond fair use.
- Don't use the Service to create malware, attack others, or break the law or anyone's rights.
9. Third-party services
The Service connects to products you choose, such as GitHub, Jira, AI model providers and other tools (MCP servers). Your use of them is governed by their terms, and we are not responsible for them.
10. Availability and support
We work to keep the Service available and secure, but it may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance or reasons outside our control. Support is provided by email at steadyqateam@gmail.com.
11. Disclaimer
EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY STATED IN THESE TERMS, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim (or USD 100 if you have not paid anything).
13. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your workspace. We may suspend or end access if you seriously or repeatedly breach these Terms, fail to pay, or to protect the Service or others. After an account or workspace is closed, we delete its data as described in our Privacy Policy.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will tell workspace owners about material changes by email or in the app before they take effect. Continued use after that means you accept the updated Terms.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
